The discovery of Italian ceramic nonstick cookware planted the seed for DaTerra Cucina. This was more than just inspiration—it was the start of a vision for a healthier, non-toxic alternative to traditional nonstick pans.
Our journey began with intensive research into ceramic coatings that were free from PFAS, PFOA, and other harmful chemicals. We were determined to design cookware that married Italian beauty with exceptional performance—crafted for real home cooks, not just professional chefs.
After years of development, our signature 11” frying pan with lid was born. It combined Italian design with professional-grade durability and quickly became a favorite in kitchens everywhere. This was the first DaTerra Cucina pan—and the foundation of everything that followed.
Encouraged by our customers’ love for the 11” pan, we expanded our cookware line to include additional sizes and styles. Every piece featured our 5th generation ceramic nonstick coating—durable, PFAS-free, and made to withstand the demands of everyday cooking while maintaining elegance.
We brought the same non-toxic innovation from our cookware to the oven. With the release of our lasagna/roasting pan, our DaTerra Cucina bakeware line was introduced, offering a proprietary nonstick ceramic coating designed for premium baking performance.
The bakeware collection grew to include cookie sheets and covered roasting pans, combining durability with a naturally nonstick finish that made baking effortless and cleanup easy.
During this time, we also began investing in advanced coating technologies that would soon take DaTerra to the next level.
