Whether you marked the day or missed it, this is one recipe worth baking any time. And when made on our DaTerra Cucina ceramic cookie sheet, the results are even better—golden, evenly baked, and so easy to clean up after.
Makes: About 4 dozen
Bake Time: 8–10 minutes
½ cup butter
½ cup peanut butter
½ cup sugar
½ cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1¼ cups all-purpose flour
¾ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Cream the butter, peanut butter, sugar, and brown sugar together until smooth.
Beat in the egg and vanilla.
In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture until a dough forms.
Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on a DaTerra Cucina cookie sheet.
Press each cookie with a fork to make the signature crisscross.
Bake for 8–10 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.
Let cool (and try not to eat them all in one sitting!)
