The newest trending spritz is hard to beat, and it’s pretty in pink!

Made popular in Rome and southern Italy, it’s a simple, fresh new option for summer. Sarti brings together mango, passion fruit, and blood orange flavors, which gives this spritz a noticeably fruit-forward character.
Sarti officially describes Sarti Rosa as an Italian aperitif with notes of Sicilian blood orange, mango, and passion fruit, along with its recognizable bright pink color.
At its simplest, a Sarti Spritz combines Sarti with Prosecco, plenty of ice, and club soda if you want it.
It follows the familiar Italian spritz formula but has a different flavor profile from some of the more bitter aperitifs. The blood orange adds citrus, while mango and passion fruit bring tropical fruit notes.
Sarti's official spritz recipe also uses the classic 3 parts Prosecco to 2 parts Sarti proportion, followed by soda.
Our recipe keeps that Prosecco-to-Sarti ratio while making the club soda optional.
A fresh, fruity Italian spritz for summer

This part comes down to preference.
Without club soda, the Sarti and Prosecco flavors will be a little more concentrated. Adding a splash makes the drink lighter and adds some extra carbonation.
Sarti's official version includes soda, but keeping it optional is an easy way to prepare the cocktail according to your own taste.
The Sarti Spritz is fruity, fresh, and lightly sweet with a touch of tartness.
Blood orange provides the citrus notes, while mango and passion fruit give it its more tropical character. Sarti describes the aperitif as having full-bodied sweetness, pronounced fruit notes, and a touch of sourness.
The Prosecco helps balance those flavors with bubbles and acidity, making the finished drink well suited for warm afternoons, summer dinners, and aperitivo before a meal.
An orange garnish is especially fitting here because blood orange is already one of the flavors in Sarti Rosa.
Use a regular orange or blood orange when available, then cut it into a wheel, half-moon, or wedge before adding it to the glass.
This is also a simple place to bring DaTerra Cucina into the preparation. The Eisenrose 8″ Chef Knife can be used to make clean slices for your citrus garnish. Its versatility is designed for everyday slicing, chopping, mincing, and cutting, so it can move easily from prepping your spritz garnish to preparing whatever food you are serving alongside it.
If you are making several drinks for guests, slice your oranges ahead of time and keep them chilled until you are ready to serve.
One of the best things about the Sarti Spritz is that there is very little preparation involved.
You only need Sarti, Prosecco, ice, optional club soda, and a fresh garnish. The bright pink color comes directly from Sarti Rosa, so there is no need for extra syrups or ingredients just to give the cocktail its signature look.
